Author: Cheryl Turner Date: January 22, 2015 Chiropractic, What's New

Our collaborative approach to chiropractic care MSK strategy for the members of the canadian forces and veterans  The prevalence of Low Back Pain experienced among the military is double that of the general public, and overall Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions are the leading cause for medical releases and non-deployment. Our Clinic Director, Dr. Ken Brough appeared on behalf of the Canadian Chiropractic Association recommending the development of a collaborative, comprehensive MSK Strategy for the members of the Canadian Forces and veterans. The final report from the Standing Committee on National Defence (NDDN) has just been published, and strongly endorses the Canadian Chiropractic Association recommendation about the importance of better addressing the tremendous burden of MSK conditions for our military.
