byward chiropractic clinic - Elbow Pain Treatment Elbow pain often presents as Golfer’s Elbow or Tennis Elbow, or more specifically known as medial and lateral epicondylosis. These are common overuse injuries and are not limited to athletes. In some cases, elbow pain can be referred from the neck or be associated with wrist dysfunction.

The symptoms in both of these common elbow complaints of are often worsened with forearm activity, like using a computer mouse, turning a wrench, carrying bags or even shaking hands.

Tennis Elbow:

Common signs and symptoms include:

  • Pain or burning on the outer part of your elbow
  • Pain with wrist and elbow extension

Golfer’s Elbow:

Common signs and symptoms include:

  • Pain or burning on the inside part of your elbow
  • Pain with hand gripping and elbow flexion

A chiropractor can accurately diagnose the injury and insure proper function of the elbow and wrist joints to speed up recovery and minimize the risk of re-injury.
